Volkswagen was established in 1937 by the German Labour Front, and headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. In the early 1930s, cars were a luxury and many Germans couldn’t afford to own any transportation beyond the cost of a motorcycle. For the design of the iconic car, Austrian automotive engineer Ferdinand Porsche was hired. The German term Volk translates to "people", thus Volkswagen translates to "people's car”. Once the car was imported to the USA and was named the “Beetle”, after heavy marketing for it’s small size, the VW became the top-selling import in the USA.
I came to get my car serviced as my traction control/epc light were on. John checked out my car and figured out the problem was my throttle system. John was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional. My car is now running better than ever and the price was extremely fair! Definitely recommend this shop especially being a woman and coming here by myself. Thank you for fixing my VW beetle!
My favorite mechanic in Los Angeles! Having always been friendly and reasonable, John and his crew have worked on multiple cars for us, including a 2002 Porsche 911 996.2 Targa and 2004 BMW 530i E60. I have also referred family and friends and highly recommend considering them!
I’m generally skeptical of all auto shops. I’ve taken several of my cars here and now I recommend it to everyone I know. They are consistently reliable and honest. The costs are the lowest I’ve found in LA for real service. They know their business.
