The History
In 1959, The British Motor Corporation launched a small car called the Morris Mini-Minor and the Austin Seven. In 1994 BMW acquired the Mini marque when it bought the Rover Group. The brand has had a revival with the Mini Cooper, featuring fresh restyling yet keeping its looks to its origins. Performance versions used the name Mini Cooper in partnership with John Cooper, a racing legend. Popular current models include the Clubman, Countryman, Paceman, Coupe and Roadster.
